Gone are the days,

                    When I was weak.

Gone are the days,

                    With future bleak.

Gone are the days,

                    When alone I cried.

Gone are the days,

                    To self when I lied.

Gone are the days,

                    When I hid my face,

Gone are the days,

                    With failure’s trace.

Gone are the days,

                    When was two legged animal.

Gone are the days,

                    With struggle upheaval.

Gone are the days,

                    Of being brute

Gone are the days,

                    Of dumb and mute.

Gone are the days,

                    Of life under subjection,

Gone are the days,

                    When accepted rejection.
